An introduction...
Sport Integrity Global Alliance
In November 2015, 20 organisations came together to create an informal coalition to lead an international private-public partnership to tackle the numerous and urgent governance challenges facing sport. The group included sports bodies, governments, anti-corruption NGOs, inter-governmental organisations, and commercial partners. Over the past sixteen months, the informal gathering has grown to more than 80 supporting organisations. Today SIGA is a worldwide, independent, neutral coalition, legally incorporated under Swiss law as a non-for-profit association, led by the sports industry and supported by key stakeholders.

SIGA Universal Standards
Good governance and integrity
1
Good Governance in Sport
SIGA’s Universal Standards on good governance in sporting organisations are founded on the pillars of democracy, transparency, accountability and stakeholder representation.
2
Financial Integrity in Sport
Financial integrity and transparency is a cornerstone of good governance. While significant strides have been made in the last decade, there is evidence of room for improvement in some existing systems.
3
Sports Betting Integrity
SIGA’s Universal Standards on Sports Betting Integrity recognise that the battle against match-fixing is fundamental to the future of sport. In today's digital era, where sports betting apps have gained widespread popularity and accessibility, it is crucial to ensure that these platforms adhere to ethical practices. Fortunately, in Switzerland, many of the betting providers with apps are regulated by local authorities, according to Wettanbieter mit App Schweiz. This regulation adds an extra layer of accountability.
